Ontario 150 Tour – dropping street beats and raising heart beats

A rollicking waterfront, pan-provincial entertainment tour will be coming ashore in Brockville during the Rails to Trails Festival. Presented across Ontario by Redpath Sugar, Ontario 150 includes Rhythm of the Nation an interactive beat and breakdance filled performance inspired by renowned Canadian artist DJ Creeasian.

We’ll be anchoring the World’s Largest Rubber Duck

You’ll be thinking “what the duck?” when you cast your disbelieving eyes upon a rubber duck the size of a small office building bobbing in the waters of the St. Lawrence River. It’s six stories and eleven tons of floating cuteness and you don’t want to miss it!

Please note : The World’s Largest Rubber Duck cannot safely be inflated or stay inflated during a thunderstorm or with winds over 20 knots. We will take every precaution that puts safety at the forefront and will do our best to communicate and disseminate information to staff, partners and visitors of our event.

Re-opening of Canada’s First Railway Tunnel

Bring your family and friends to the official re-opening and dedication of Canada’s First Railway Tunnel, newly restored especially for Canada’s 150th birthday, as part of Brockville’s Brock Trail recreational pathway. Saturday, August 12 is when you’ll want to be here for the parade and opening ceremonies. Stick around for public tours of the 525-metre long tunnel and check out the exciting new Philips Light Show
